The dive centre was well organized, send us a reminder email and had all the dives perfectly planned. Our dive master supported my partner on her first dive and made sure we all are safe. The deeper reef dives (60’) were excellent with reef sharks, turtles and rays. For Hol Chan you can consider to only snorkel but a must do with lots of schools of fish. Night dive is shallow and you see critters you don’t see in the day. We also got our Nitrox certification at no cost from dive school.

SCUBA School in Belize was unforgettable — I felt completely safe with the gears we used from them and well cared for throughout the entire journey, from leaving the dock to coming back. The energy and enthusiasm made every dive exciting, and they helped us create long lasting underwater memories. Belize’s beauty underwater is unmatched, and this team truly enhanced the experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Ambergris Caye, whether you’re new to diving or you’ve had experiences!

Amazing Experience at Scuba School & Family Dive Center!

Our experience at Scuba School & Family Dive Center was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, emphasizing safety while keeping the experience fun and exciting.

The instructors are patient, professional, and truly passionate about diving. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, they cater to all skill levels and ensure everyone feels confident in the water. The equipment was top-notch, and the entire experience felt incredibly safe.

This is the perfect place for families, couples, or solo adventurers looking to explore the underwater world in a fun and relaxed environment. We had an unforgettable time and can’t wait to come back for more dives! Highly recommend!

We just did a two-week dive trip to Belize and spent close to a week of it with Scuba School. They have a great reputation and came highly recommended. We had consistently positive experiences and all of the staff were great.

The one thing I think worth mentioning is that Scuba School does cater to more novice divers, as the name suggests. But their safety is fantastic and they took us to great diving.

My 8 yr old did their intro to diving bubble maker course and loved it. Her instructor Aldemaro was great! He taught her all of the skills she needed to pass off to go out to the reef. He was very cute and patient with the kids and they trusted him. She had such a great day!

MJ was the most patient instructor calming all my hesitation and fears. I went at the prompting of my husband who wanted to go. MJs method of ensuring you are comfortable before the next step, soft, calming positive and patient voice, reminded me of a yoga instructor. He stuck with me to make sure I was also enjoying the experience. In one afternoon I was able to enjoy my first dive in the reef which was amazing. We saw a sea turtle and so many beautiful colorful fish. Now, this initially reluctant 54 year old grandma is on her way to be Open Water PADI certified! Thank you to everyone at Scuba School and Family Dive Center (San Pedro, Ambergris Caye) for being so kind and welcoming.

Belize Island Divers made our certification experience exceptional. Our Captain, Jose, and Instructor, MJ, were clear with instructions, professional, and provided a personalized experience. They made a daunting new activity approachable and fun. I would definitely use them again.

Scuba School and Family Dive Center Belize is fantastic! The dives are incredibly affordable, making them perfect for both seasoned divers and newcomers. The divemasters Logan, Lindo, and Esram are the dream team—professional, knowledgeable, and safety-focused, yet so much fun to be around. They create an unforgettable diving experience with their infectious energy and expertise. Highly recommend!

Came to San Pedro specifically for scuba diving not knowing what to expect. I can say my expectations were exceeded!

Everyone at the dive shop is so welcoming and makes you feel part of the family! The instructors take their time with helping you in any way that they can. They are patient and knowledgeable.

Big shoutout to Esrom for helping me through each step of my certification! He explains things so well and in ways that anyone can understand! He’s got a good sense of humour that keeps you engaged! Highly recommended him when getting your certification!

Overall a 10/10 experience and I would suggest throwing in a night dive if you’re feeling brave!
